The most relevant construction works, were:

• Pedralva (Braga), Macedo de Cavaleiros, Fernão Ferro e Vermoim Substation to Portuguese National Electrical Network (REN), with a total budget of 30 million euros;

• Refurbishment of Headquarters of Portugal Central Bank in Lisbon with a total budget of 20 million euros;

• Group of Secondary Schools in Caneças, Alverca e Póvoa de Sta. Iria, with a total budget of 39 million euros.

• Also important were, the refurbishment of the Parliament’s Sessions Room and Seismic Strengthening of S. Bento Palace (Portuguese Parliament).

 

Responsible to represent the company in a consortium with Zagope, to establish the budget for Naval Base of Zeralda – Algeria (» 200M€).

Cooperation in the implementation of the Quality System, to ensure the certification. This goal was achieved in 1996. EDIFER was the first construction company in Portugal to have the Quality System certified.

 

Manager of the Concrete Control Laboratory.

• Development of studies to reduce the production costs of concrete produced by EDIFER, which resulted in a cost reduction of around 35% over the cost of acquisition in the market, ensuring a high level of product quality.
